Following the culinary adventure, we'll embark on a tour of the "Transplanted Sunflowers: Ukrainian Immigrant Experience in Southern Alberta 1930s to present" exhibit, guided by one of the co-curators.

Join retired Veteran and Military historian Glenn Miller on a fascinating walking tour, where we will explore the contributions of Lethbridge since the Boer War. Get ready for an informative and engaging experience as we delve into Lethbridge's military history. Please bring water and good walking shoes. Access to bathrooms may be limited. Be prepared to walk for approximately 1 km. Meet at the Eternal Flame on Scenic Drive South. Tickets are required in advance and must be purchased at least 3 hours before program start time.

Combined with a personal tour of Fort Whoop-Up and a wagon ride through the Belly River Valley, your picnic experience is sure to create unforgettable memories. Our partner, Homestyle Charcuterie is a small home-based Lethbridge business that strives to create authentic, high quality and mouth-watering culinary fare.

Picnic Box Contains the Following:

Fruit (fresh & dried)

Nuts
Olives & pickles
Condiment
Sweet
Beverage

NOTE: Contents of the picnic box may change depending on availability.

Fort Whoop-Up Homestyle Charcuterie Picnics are available from June 21 – September 3, 2023. Wednesday through Sunday only. Picnics are not available on Monday or Tuesday.

Cost: $25/picnic experience (includes single admission, tour, picnic, beverage, and wagon ride)

Booking is required 24 hours in advance.
