The journey begins at the Galt Museum & Archives, where Bike Lane will provide complimentary bike inspections to ensure everyone is road ready. After a brief overview of the route and a discussion on cycling safety, participants will embark on the public art bike crawl, discovering murals, sculptures, and other artistic landmarks scattered throughout downtown and area. The ride will cover approximately eight kilometers at a relaxed pace.
As we explore, there will be opportunities to pause, take in the artwork, and discuss its significance. There will be one extended stop halfway through the trip at the mural Confluence by Darcy Logan and Aaron Hagan. The tour will conclude at Casa, where Studio B Collective (Darcy Logan, Aaron Hagan, and Alexis Bialbowski) will host Patio Postcards and Pinot, where participants are invited to make or write a postcard to Lethbridge to capture thoughts and feelings about public art.
